We wanted to take this GT86 back to its roots by replacing the stock FA20 engine with an engine that suits the chassis.
The black top 3SGE BEAMS driveline was chosen for its reliability and performance.
While offered in natrually aspirated form from the factory, with proper planning a turbo trim level is very reliable. This particular build was done with a Precision turbocharger, Injector Dynamics Injectors, custom intake and exhaust manifolds and downpipe into a Tomei titanium exhaust. Engine management was handled via Haltech EMS solutions. At 500hp, this power package is quite fun.
